How many once-in-a-lifetime opportunities do you get? Would you have joined Facebook when it was still in a Harvard dorm room? Or Google when it was just a PhD research project? Or Zynga before it had a game called Farmville?

OK, seriously – we can’t promise we’re going to be that big. But we can promise we’re going to give it our very best shot.

eeGeo is a well-funded start-up developer and publisher of location-based games based in Dundee, Scotland and we want to turn social gaming on its head – and that’s just us warming up.

We are currently looking for several new team members who have the passion, talent and drive to be a part of a team that strives to create ground-breaking social and casual games, reshape an entire industry and literally change the world.

We are always on the lookout for people with a great deal of talent who have an interest in Casual and Social Games.

If you believe that you could contribute to eeGeo, please send a CV and covering letter to:

A bunch of good reasons why you should apply:

Working at eeGeo means you’ll be a part of team that values learning and continual improvement. Our team is passionate about making great software products and we are highly motivated and tremendously supportive.

We pride ourselves on being agile and pragmatic, working at a swift, sustainable pace to deliver early and often. You won’t end up stuck on some enormous project that’s going to take 3 years to ship or die trying.

We are working with a mix of established and emerging technologies such as Unity 3D , C#, Flash, Cloud Computing, and Linux. You’ll get a chance to work with all of them. You’ll never be a cog in the machine at eeGeo, as we expect our team to be flexible and adaptable.

Our technical team takes responsibility for both the development and operation of our games. This will give you a rare opportunity to see how your code is used in production rather than throwing it over the fence to a separate department.

Our agile development approach and regular reviews of working practises mean that learning and improvement are integral to our day-to-day working lives. As a small studio, we are always striving for ways to be more effective. We do this through frequent, open communication, tight collaboration between disciplines and an absolute minimum of bureaucracy.

We think this provides the perfect environment for us to realise our full potential as game developers. We are making a place where good people can become great.

And we believe in rewarding great people, so we offer a great compensation package including highly competitive salary (£30K to £45K or better for candidates with specialized skills) and benefits, a bonus structure and company equity.
